The MP-E 65mm f/2.8 from Canon is a unique manual-focus lens designed specifically for macro shooting. It features extreme close-up imaging from a 1:1 (life-size) magnification ratio to a 5:1 ratio. A wide focus ring enables precise manual focusing while a detachable, rotatable tripod collar offers increased stability when mounted to a tripod. In addition to the 58mm filter thread, there is a mounting ring for attaching macro lights to the front of the lens, eliminating the need for many photographers to struggle with accessories while shooting. The lens mounts to all Canon EOS DSLR and SLR cameras and features an ultra-low dispersion lens element and three-group floating optical system to preserve optical quality at different focusing distances, as well as a UD-glass element.Product Identifiers

Amazing Macro Lens
This lens has a solid build and very sharp optics. It is very capable with a 1X to 5X range. Focusing is achieved by moving the lens so a macro rail is helpful. This lens is suited for dedicated macro photography.
