This set contains all of their hits including 'Walk Don't Run', 'Perfidia', 'Ram-Bunk-Shush' and 'Lullaby of the Leaves' as well as some amazing covers of 'Delilah', 'Mission Impossible', 'Fever', 'La Bamba', 'Jambalaya' and classic Beatles songs 'Eleanor Rigby', 'I Feel Fine', 'Strawberry Fields Forever' and 'Hey Jude'. to cap off their wonderful career, on March 10, 2008 The Ventures celebrated their Golden Anniversary by joining their early guitar idols Chet Atkins, Duane Eddy and Les Paul in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.     First time buying from this seller. I actually tried to cancel the order as it hadn't shipped yet and I was afraid it wouldn't arrive on time. However the seller declined and shipped it to me quickly. I arrived just in time. Album was just as pictured and described. It arrived undamaged and was professionally packaged.     I purchased this record the day after Ozzy died and the seller emailed me the very next day to let me know it was out of stock. He offered me a refund or I could wait until it was stocked up again. I chose to wait on it but before I got home from work it had been delivered the following Monday! It was packaged well and I will definitely be back to buy more from this dealer! Highly recommend 5star seller all the wau!

    The Ventures

    Everything was good: fast shipping, good quality CD, nice price. What I didn't really care for was the selection of songs. The Ventures did some really good songs and this CD didn't have the really good songs. The only really good one was "Hawaii Five-O."

    A little surf music & a little elevator music

    50 songs from the Ventures? KA-POW!!! You've heard these guys before! Could be at the beach. Could be at the dentist office. ( Remember Muzak?) Anyway- The Ventures music is great background for working on the old Buick or grillin' up some chops on the Webber!!! The Bizzy Wolf says- A+A+

    Poor Sound Quality

    The company that did the digitizing did not do a very good job. The quality is not up to par with other CDs I have bought. The tunes are great, but my old 8 tracks sounded a lot better!

    An excellent and nostalgic compilation!

    This 2-CD set is an excellent compilation of the Venture's catalog over 50 years and includes a number of tracks that I remember (yes, I'm that old) when they were originally released. What is really revealed here is the versatility of the group--and the talent of each member, with some pretty serious guitar licks along the way. It also demonstrates that the band was not just three guitars and a drum kit, which were the heart of the Ventures, but there are also other instruments and voices added to many tracks, creating a much richer and fuller sound. Whether you are familiar with them or not, this set will introduce--or bring back memories of--the Ventures with every track. If you like real music, this is something you should check out.

    "Calling All Venturists!"

    Lovers of the group listen up; you now have all their greatest arrangements in one 2 disc set, and its more than worth it. Their "cover tunes" are well worth an ear and their originals don't disappoint. Instrumental lovers just starting out should get this as a foundation CD set to build on.
