    Steed! We ned you now more than ever!

    Its the Avengers! No more really needs to be said. Perhaps the best of the 60's classic TV series this set continues the exploits of John Stead and Tara King and the 60s psychedelics have firmly taken hold. Good fun - good story telling and well worth the investment in time and money. Do your self and you friends a favor; gather round the TV and see how an umbrella is a far better weapon against the evils that threaten than all the gadgets of that Bond pretender!

    Well worth the purchase!

    Satisfied that there's no picture freeze up issue which i had a problem with with the TV show "As Time Goes By" Series 8 & 9.

    Tara King

    Tara King is a good replacement for Emma Peel. At the time, bad advertising has her as a bubble-headed blond who "has been known to scream for help at times." WRONG! She never did that. She handled herself in all her fights very well -- and especially so at the lighthouse. incorrect advertising killed the series. This is a good series and it should have been more than one year in length.

    Definitely not Bond

    Really enjoyed watching these Avengers of the past. This collection is no exception. Watch them solve one set of crimes while being a bit whimsical in the process. McNee and Thorson doing it well.
