Great stand and worth the investment…
Even if you’re doing just one engine, it’s worth the investment. Rotating the engine is easy and saves you time and the frustration of a motor rolling around on the bench. You could always sell it from a small loss that’s worth the time and frustration savings. The drain pan works great for catching fluids and dirt/debris and cleans up easily. A couple of minor issues to be aware of. - The indexing holes are a little sloppy, so there is some play (3/8” on mine). Not a big deal but it’s there. - It would be nice to have some mounting tabs to mount it to the bench. - If you’re working on older or small displacement engines, you’ll need to get a sleeve and smaller bolt for the rear. I used a nylon sleeve for inside the frame and three flange nuts to secure it to the frame, allow for offset rear case holes and one to secure the motor.
