A good well built 1960's era model, of strong plastic, very unique and the basis of a very detailed model for an experienced model maker of today.
This model product from Revell is a product of the late '60's when model kits were unique and interesting. The precise detail of today's models is lacking in this one BUT this one was the standard back then with most manufacturers. NOBODY else has made one like this. Made one in the late '60s but was later stolen. This model is my 2nd one(deja vu)`. I have continued building model kits thru the years into rtmt which satisfies my creative urge. Thanks to the internet, I can detail this boat heavily, seeing how much detail that was left out. I found the correct designation of the boat and 4 pages of detail for the engine plus the inside layout with many changes. They left a guide for the mid wall but never put it in and so on. Not a bad little ship
