    I ordered this item two days ago but was contacted by the seller, who advised that there was a snafu in their warehouse and they could not be sure that my item was actually sent to me. A full refund has already been issued. I was also told that if I do eventually receive the item that it is mine to keep [i.e., without my having to pay for it again]. I appreciate this seller's prompt and honest communication and would definitely purchase from this seller again.

    The package arrived from Amazon. I'm fairly certain the seller caught a deal on Amazon and is reselling. I saw a deal I missed earlier in the day. Overall, the product arrived quickly and price was around the sales I like to catch. They have since raised the price of the listing. In my opinion, it's no longer a good deal. Seller fulfilled their obligation in the transaction.

    Priced to high

    This is a great product. It is a little expensive for a novice just getting started and you has to be stingy to come out because of the price for such a small bottle. If the bottle were twice as large; or maybe three times as large for the same money, it would cause more people would begin to try leather work. I myself have held off making anything from leather for many years because of the high price of everything involved in leather making . I only recently started the leather craft after finding the items on the internet and locating the items at an affordable price. The one important thing I located was a leather saddle making company that offered to sell me scrap leather by the pound.They even have a machine that cuts the leather to any thickness you want . That got me started and now ...

    Fiebing Pro Dye

    Had to stain some renaissance leather a darker brown. I didn't really know what I was doing or how much I would need. The oil based dye worked great and I hardly used any of the 4oz bottle I had bought. Very happy with the turn out. Hardly any steaks at all.

    Very good dye, nice color.

    Very dark and rich brown. Required a couple of coats. I degreased with rubbing alcohol, and then pre-conditioned with a bit of olive oil.
