Complete Metalsmith Professional Edition about the same as other editions.
I am a great fan of Tim McCreight's and bought this to replace my old first edition, thinking there would be more material in this updated edition. I didn't find much new in this edition. The hand printing of the first edition is replaced with typeset text, but the text was almost the same. This edition lays flat on your workbench, but so did the smaller paperback first edition. If you don't have a copy of this book and you are a jewelry craftsperson, get one. However, you can probably get a copy of the charming first edition a lot cheaper than this one and you won't worry if it gets soiled, as you can always get another for cheap.
