    Covers the subject

    The quality of the printing and pictures and the book itself are excellent. However, I do not believe the author has/had any real interest in this actual model of bus. No mention of what size engines they had, or anything about the gear boxes they had and what modification did London Transport (LT) have to make too them to make them more drivable. No mention of the difference between the MK1 and the MK2. I could go on... But the biggest problem with this author is the overuse of initialisms, and at no point does he spell out the initialisms. What does LS actually stand for? Or GLC, GLA, DM, DMS, DVLC, MS? I could go on. Most people will have no idea what these acronyms mean and for me just spoils the book. If you want to know what buses were at what garages and when, then fine.

    Fantastic read

    A very informative book all about London Transport Leyland Nationals. Along with great photos and cations is a history of every London LS. It even has a photo of my preserved LT LS103, OJD903R. Thus was a very welcome surprise but a nice one. The author has taken care in producing a high quality book. A must for anyone interested in Nationalscor London buses.

    Detailed history of the Leyland National in London

    A thorough history for the London Bus Enthusiast of the Leyland National bus operating for London Transport and its successors. Comprehensive photos of the buses on every page but you would have to have knowledge of its routes to see where the allocations were made.
