BioWare's critically acclaimed action-RPG returns with a new protagonist and setting in Mass Effect: Andromeda. The story of Andromeda begins between the second and third entries of the original Mass Effect trilogy, when each of the four Citadel Council races agree to send 20,000 people on a 600-year journey to help colonize planets in the Andromeda Galaxy. Gamers play as Sara Ryder or her twin brother Scott (both characters can be given customized first names and appearances) as they explore new planets, form relationships, and engage in real-time combat. Ryder can travel around the galaxy in a ship called Tempest, while planetary exploration takes place in an all-terrain vehicle from which players can scan for resources. Dialogue between characters plays an important role in Andromeda, with gamers choosing from four response types and occasionally an action prompt, and conversations may contain moral decisions that affect Ryder's relationships, some of which may grow romantic. Unlike previous games in the series, players are not bound by specific character classes. As they complete missions they can level up and unlock dozens of combat, tech, and biotics skills, and more than 300 skill upgrades. Gamers will also eventually unlock seven different profiles that add more bonuses to their preferred method of playing, and they can switch between four different profiles at any time. Combat in Mass Effect: Andromeda was designed to be faster and more fluid than in previous titles, with a new dynamic cover system and a jetpack that lets players hover in midair. Gamers can use guns, melee attacks, and special skills to attack foes, and they get help in battle from six squadmates, each with three active skills and two passive skills. Players can order their squad around the battlefield, choose how they want their skills to evolve, and they can also team up for special Power Combo attacks. Multiplayer fans can also join friends for co-op action.

Not Mass Effect but better than expected
The original Mass Effect trilogy is completely different from this game. This is open world with lots of quests and the emphasis is on gear crafting and character skill points. So unlike other games where you tend to only pick a few best skills and go for the best weapon Mass Effect Andromeda lets you change it whenever you want, even the character class itself. So it's actually a lot of fun and is similar to Diablo 3 in how you can change everything if you get bored with the current character. You also won't care much about the characters themselves (unlike original Mass Effect) so you can feel free to pick whatever dialogue options you want and do renegade choices without feeling like you just turned Shepard into a monster. Definitely worth the price on eBay but at launch I can see why reviewers destroyed this game and fans felt completely betrayed by BioWare.

I have been playing this game & it it ART i love it graphics are just breath taking & i do alot of the multiplayer online & it does very good very fast & stable haven't not had one problem with MEA buy it & you wil see what i am ranting on about

Fun game
Great game easy to mod. Not a good game for the run and gunner. You need to inspect the areas you are fighting in to find your resources. Great character builder.

Finally a game that really uses 5.1 sound and 1070 card. However once you figure out something it gets repetitive

All went well
Got it right after I bought it. The code checked out and I started playing that very day. Great value for the price and a good game if you liked other Mass Effects.

no game!!!!
three times I load the game cant play when I start the game is a black screen only and the name of the game a few seconds later return me to the origin page where I have my games, what I can do?????

Well worth $5.00-$10.00.
It's one of, if not the best Mass Effect games in the series. Easy to optimize. Graphics are insanely good.
