Great soap, I always buy a years supply from this U.S. company as I cannot find this wonderful soap in the U.K! Great if you suffer from allergies. I paid little more for the same pill cutter that I have had for about 8 years. Recently my guard, a piece of plastic, broke on mine, so I started looking for a replacement and hopefully to find the same brand, Shield. This one looks basically the same, but does not seem to be as sharp. The case does not shut as tight, with the snap shut effect. I am getting the pills cut, and trying different techniques of slamming down the top for the cutter, so as to not get the pills crushed, broken as it has done on me a few times. Maybe it just needs to be more worn in, but don't remember having that problem years ago. There is always some type of change in a product over the years, unfortunately. Safe clean pill cutter
In the last two months I have purchased and/or received 4 pill cutters, this one is the best. I love the silicone mat under the cutting area because it prevents pill slippage during cutting and the safety shield. I would recommend this to any one wanting a pil cutter because of these fine features. Thank you!

Best pill cutter on the market
Best pill cutter on the market. My last one has lasted well over 10 years, and I just bought this one as a back-up. The rubber part that holds the pills, which makes it easier to make accurate cuts for any size pill, is its best feature.

This is much more effective, and easier to deal with, than less expensive pill cutters. It's well worth the extra $2-3. Some reviews complain about this and other pill cutters crushing pills into powser, rather than cutting them. The biggist factor in that is not the pill cutter, but the ingredients they put in the pill, like binders, coloring agents, preservatives, fillers, and the medication itself. Because of that, some pills are going to crumble like chalk no matter how you try to cut them. I have to cut some pills for our cat that are pretty crumbly. The previous cutter I used mostly crushed them, and this one doesn't crush them as much, so that's a win in my book.This is much more effective, and easier to deal with, than less expensive pill cutters.
