The Nutcracker and The Four Realms Movie Review
The Nutcracker and The Four Realms - This movie had a very personal effect on me this holiday season. My wife and I loved seeing The Nutcracker performance each Christmas for the past several years. This past year we did not get to see The Nutcracker live performance thanks to COVID-19 so we opted to purchase this movie instead and enjoyed it very much. The music drives the performances and the music of The Nutcracker is timeless and magical, which made the movie magical and timeless for us as well. The special effects are so well blended that they do not interfere with the acting and actors but do help tell the story and make the Four Realms an exciting place to be. This film reminded me of another Disney movie, The Chronicles of Narnia. Definitely a safe and fun Disney movie that the whole family can enjoy. I think there was only one curse word in the film but nothing that would be cringe worthy or keep families from enjoying this film together. I do wish that the DVD could have had some extra bonus features showing how some of the 3D Animation was made but I guess I am getting spoiled from The Lord of The Rings / Hobbit DVDs with their many hours of bonus footage. Other than that, I have no complaints about this movie and will watch it again and again as one of m favorite films in my library.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

I got to go to the live ballet of "the Nutcracker" many years ago. This movie was way better!
I am very romantic, and I love fairytales, and this movie is an awesome fairytale! I loved it!!! The costumes and scenery are so exquisite and beautiful! I have had many very difficult things to overcome in my life, so I totally identified with the heroine...and I was encouraged by this story to never give up during the very hard time I am in at this time.
