Shay, and Zephyr (1934); and numerous other locomotives of great historical interest from these and other countries. Coverage extends from Richard Trevithick's experimental locomotive of 1805 to a 2,500-hp, diesel-electric locomotive built in America in 1963. A caption is supplied for every illustration.
