    The best movie of the story of Esther!

    This is one of our all-time favorites! The characters and settings are so realistic. It's the closest to the Bible story that we have found. The bible doesn't elaborate on some of the details so the writers have presented a plausible background in the timeline. The story of Esther is one that we learn a lot about God's deliverance of His people, and their deep belief in God's power. The character of Esther was perfect, much like I'd imagined she'd be. King Xerxes, about 40 according to record, is handsome and passionate. Mordecai, Haman, and all the other characters were chosen well and played the parts so well that you easily get into the story line. It's a great historical, biblical movie!

    Wonderful film!

    This is a wonderful film, rich with color, the costumes are amazing, the acting is great. I love the story of Esther, and the actress is wonderful. You can really feel the love that developes between her and the king. The climax where she goes into the throne room to see him keeps you on the edge of your seat, and of course the ending is wonderful.

    Serious with great reward

    This movie was excellent. It showed that one must trust God completely. It also showed our History has not changed much. We have cons, Liars, thieves, and manipulators. We aren't any better off today which is alarming.

    Inspiring story of Esther who finds love while standing up for the Jewish people in a strange land.

    My wife and daughters all loved this movie. She keeps showing it to her female friends.They all love the romance between Esther and the King. it shows a young Jewish woman put in a position to save her people ,the Jews from being slaughtered. For a epic type movie it has good production values for not being done by a major studio. Of course, these days they don't produce any movies about people of faith. I recommend this as an inspiring story from the Bible with good acting,
