TRUE BLOOD chronicles the backwards Louisiana town of Bon Temps...where vampires have emerged from the coffin, and no longer need humans for their fix.     No true opinion yet...

    Considering that there are seven series and 33 discs and that I have only had the collection for just over a week I have not watched it all and as a direct result I do not feel that I am in any position to review this item. However, from what I have seen so far I am not over impressed and would regard it as typical TV viewing and no more. I am advised that it gets better as time goes on. (Stifled yawn)

    Engaging, fantastic, entertaining, stretching the imagination to it's limits.

    A terriffic series of course, with top grade actors, production teams and all round top grade writers and directors. No wonder it has had such a following. Me too.

    Vampires, shifters, werewolves, fey. Buffy on steroids.

    Had the 1st 2 seasons on video so knew what to expect. Watched 4 and a half seasons so far with the gruesome death toll rising. Great fun.

    True Blood boxset

    Early Good, Later Not Quite So

    Loved this series as have read all the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire Mystery novels. Early days it was quite fascinating but towards the end of the full series, the stories were nothing to do with the original books and were completely made up by who knows? Rather silly stories at that, but nevertheless I stuck it to the end to see how all the characters panned out. Very enjoyable viewing, regardless, and well acted at that.
