The best of the old “dectetive stories”
William Warren was a sensational actor and brings it in the Perry Mason films. Very well done for a B-film series. The scripts are engaging, the direction and acting top flight. You’ll see a lot of up and coming stars in the series, such as Errol Flynn making his film debut in the first episode. Good quality film. Guaranteed to please!

Very enjoyable
Warren William is very enjoyable to watch as Perry Mason. He is clever, quick witted and quite humorous at times. The movies themselves are well written. The interplay between Della and Perry is very entertaining. All the character actors add much to the films as well. Although filmed mostly in the 30's they are more on par with movies of the 40's in production values and acting.

Perry Mason DVD of 1936 Movie
It was fun and interesting to see a "playboy" Perry Mason with a comedian side kick, after growing up with Raymond Burr. Interesting that he and Della got married right at the git go. It was like the plot could have been written by the writers of the Hopalong Cassidy show. Thoroughly enjoyed the movies.

Fun to watch the interpretation from the Thirties
very interesting seeing the three Perry Masons. Actually closer to the books than the series episodes. However Raymond Burr and Barbara Hale will always the best Perry and Della. Great value.

A different Perry Mason, but still excellent.
If you love Perry Mason from TV, this is a must have. It is completely different from the TV series, but it is excellent in its own right.

Love having my Perry Mason fix whenever I want. So we'll written lots of famous actors. They are like mini film noirs. If you haven't watch it you should.
