Surprisingly awful
Knowing something about the subject for decades and being an admirer of the actors involved, I was surprised at how awful this production was. What a waste of opportunity and talent! There are so many really interesting things in this story that could have been presented but were just ignored. It was as if Paul Thomas Anderson was purposely attempting to disgust and bore the audience at every opportunity. The actors did not have a chance!
