Take T Batpure supertweetr review.
This is my second pair of the diminutive Take T Batpure mini tweeters. The first pair are still connected to my hi fi speakers and have been in use for many years now. There are many super tweeters available and no doubt many are more sophisticated than these but for size, simplicity and value for money these are well worth trying. Just one thing to be aware of, be careful when soldering to the tags if not using crimp tags and dont place too much heat on the tags, be quick and if in doubt of your soldering skills might be better to use crimp on tags. These are indeed rippers!
I was skeptical as the frequency range is beyond human hearing. As live music doesn't automatically stop at the upper limit of our hearing it is reasonable to supplement our loudspeakers with a higher range than has been considered the norm ever since hi fi became a reality. The benefits are so dramatic it is hard to comprehend. Everything suddenly sounds live and not recorded. It is as if you are there and not listening to loudspeakers. The sounds appear to have been separated and no longer sound merged as we have been accustomed to hearing. In particular brass instruments take on a new life and sound absolutely fantastic. Installation is easy if a little finicky. They are easily damaged with heat from a soldering iron, so be very careful. Instead, I used 28 AWG which easily goes ... I was skeptical as the frequency range is beyond human hearing. I wrapped the wire around the brass terminals and used a dab from a Conductive Paint Pen, which can be used as a cold solder. The other ends go to the speaker terminals. The Super Tweeters have double sided tape on the rear and since they are so light and small they can easily be positioned behind the speaker's grille. I have a multi channeled Home Theatre system and every speaker has one! Considering the cost of purchasing your equipment, a small investment that perhaps has the greatest benefit of any component.

Fantastic product
It needs ebony or rosewood plate to fit on and best wiring you have. Result is listenable in lots of positive ways after few days of burnt in period. In a way i like them more then Heil AMT drivers, which are suppose to be partly similar technology. Dynamic drivers remains to have sound of the dynamic drivers, with the nice addition of the sound of the Heil ribbons. I have quite a few ribbon drivers, but Heils and Taket have distinctive sound, different from other ribbons. They are fragile pieces, they need lots of planning before the mounting them on wood and you to have still hand when welding the- very thin wires are the best,wires on them and good eyes..It needs ebony or rosewood plate to fit on and best wiring you have. Superb Super Tweeters
If you are looking for the affects of a good super tweeter but without any of the messing around with matching to your speakers, then these babies are the ones for you.! Superb, they really do open up the sound and give you more space with better definition throughout the whole audio spectrum. Very very pleased indeed! I can't believe I had been contemplating there for 3 years now, really glad I finally bought them though as they really are brilliant.If you are looking for the affects of a good super tweeter but without any of the messing around with matching to your speakers, then these babies are the ones for you.! Super super tweeter.
Super super tweeter, is well worth auditioning for yourself. For me I purchased these super tweeters as an experiment to see if it could add anything to my audio system, well it did, on both pairs of speakers I tried with these, they added air and extended the higher frequencies. They have turned bookshelf speakers into much larger speakers due to the airiness surrounding them. Well worth a try.
