Worked very well, although you will need to use a heat gun or have a very hot sunny day to properly treat the jacket. My really old faithful jacket took about 2/3 of a pot for a really good treatment.

On the appearance front the tin states the company was founded in 1954 but the Waxed jacket I bought at the same time states they were formed in the 1990's so there is some confusing labelling here.

Once wax is melted you sponge onto garment. I used about two thirds of the tin on a large coat covering everywhere well.
