Product Information

Patrick Swayze stars in this modern-day Western as a tough guy who has poetic instincts and drives a Mercedes. Fresh from earning his doctorate in Eastern Philosophy from New York University, mettlesome loner Dalton (Swayze) finds work as a bouncer at an anarchic road house. Within weeks, Dalton has rid the bar of the ruffians ruining its business and has even struck up a romance with a sexy doctor (Kelly Lynch). Then Dalton bounces the wrong man, who turns out to be one of town crime boss Brad Wesley's henchmen. Wesley first tries to buy Dalton off, but fails. When Wesley learns of Dalton's new lover -- who used to be Wesley's significant other -- Wesley vows bloody vengeance. But Dalton, with his unique mixture of brute force and Zen oneness, isn't about to let his college money go to waste.

    Item was packaged in a soft envelope, which luckily was supplemented by a heavy amount of bubble wrap, thus saving it from being destroyed by a postal employee. Really lucky it didn't get cracked, my postman likes to shove envelope type packages in my mailbox even when they don't fit. But, the item did arrive in mint condition, exactly as described, and with the slipcover too! Price was fantastic for an out of print disc. Since it arrived in mint condition, I'm a happy customer. Thanks! A+

    I had a great 1st experience with this seller! My item was as described, it arrived on time, it was undamaged and communication was excellent.     Just Plain Awesome!

    First of all, i love this movie. Road House has always been my favorite Patrick Swayze movie of choice. The action, the music, the fights and that cast! Everyone knows the movie, so i'll review the disc. Unlike the previous release on Blu-ray, this release finally corrects many of the wrongs that one made. It's framed correctly. The picture really pops! The clarity of the picture is crystal clear, yet doesn't sacrifice the depth of scope and the grain and grittiness and the mood we love so much about this movie. The fight scenes are even more impressive in this remastered print. The audio is loud and directional if you are watching it on home theatre and surround sound. The music was always a major draw for me too and to have it pumping out of my speakers all around me in perfect clarity ...

    Great presentation of an 80's classic!

    No, it's not "Gone With the Wind" but it's a classic 80's film that's fun to watch. This Blu-ray is the perfect presentation - beautifully mastered picture and sound, loaded with extra features featuring the cast and crew. Shout Factory always delivers the best treatments of these old favorites!
