    Great old epic movie!

    Not unlike many movies of the time, this one covers real people in the best interpretation of them from the limited history we have. Some things may not be 100% true but the story is great and as always, Richard Burton delivers, as he does in every part, like his Marc Antony opposite the amazing Liz Taylor in "Cleopatra". Alexander the Great is a fantastic movie free of monsters and magic with a huge and stellar cast like Peter Cushing as Memnon and Fredric March as Phillip of Macedonia. A MUST see if you like the epic genre!

    Boring!

    Hard to follow. Quite boring. Weak Burton performance. Terrible directing. Definitely not a typical classic Hollywood movie from that era. I will be donating this one to my local library.
