The LEDs are bright enough to be seen easily when depressing the brake pedal. The only issue I ran into is the plug on the back of the assembly was extremely tight, almost too big for the FJ plug to fit over. Had to use a dremel tool to take down a few parts, but it did fit after that, just really tight.
