It is a very lightweight vinyl and the mice could chew through it, so unfortunately I had to return it. For normal use, this would have been fine. It is very soft and pliable. I'm sure it would slide on a mattress easily and would prove to be very comfortable. It arrived very quickly and well packaged. HealthyCovers was good to do business with.
