Poor Design
This Suzuki top was obviously designed by people who never have to actually use it. The direction that the zippers zip/unzip is exactly opposite from how they should be to make accessing the rear of your vehicle easy. I have to fight with the Velcro over the zippers and now my vehicle squeaks because the fit is so much different. Everything has to be done in a very precise fashion to secure it, which often involves unnecessary steps and struggling. And I’m not talking about getting it on the first time, I’m referring to just reaching into the rear- it’s a real pain and I wish that I had just gone with the same type that was on it before. The fabric is NOT vinyl; it is much cheaper and lighter than the original top that I replaced. I do like that the windows are tinted, but unless you plan ... Perfect Replacement for a Samurai!!
I got this top in very fast within a few days. After buying another top on here from another store. The old top was bad quality and didnt even line up with factory mounts even after soaking in the sun and using a heat gun. When i got the Smittybilt top laid it out in the sun and it went on super easy and actually mounted to the factory spots on my samurai. If i ever need a new onlne ill definitely be getting a smittybilt again.I got this top in very fast within a few days. After buying another top on here from another store. So Happy
I recently bought a Sierra and it needed an update to it's soft top. After reading the reviews I decided to order one of these soft tops and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It took me about 45 mins to install the soft top on my own. It looks so much better than my old one and being able to unzip the sides and back without having to take the whole thing off make this super convenient. The quality is amazing and it has held completely watertight through rain over the last few days. Great product and very high quality material
This has very high quality zippers, materials and snaps. The instructions were easy to understand and everything fit well. I would definitely buy this again. I feel like the price is great for such a quality product. The only thing that I wish was different is that, currently to take the side panels off, you have to unscrew the metal pieces that hold the fabric in place. I wish there was an additional zipper on the side panel so you could simply unzip the side panels completely off like you can the back panel.This has very high quality zippers, materials and snaps. The instructions were easy to understand and everything fit well. I would definitely buy this again. I feel like the price is great for such a quality product. Missing hardware ruined a great product
the top itself is off great quality. what I'm disappointed in is the missing hardware. Due to the nature of these parts the missing bolt is near impossible to find. Meanwhile the two missing nuts weren't that much of an issue I wish I didn't have to waste my time searching for these. Great product, but be warned of missing hardware. If anyone has a link to a reputable hardware website I would appreciate a message. the top itself is off great quality. what I'm disappointed in is the missing hardware.
