    The story of Robert Oppenheimer from his pick to lead the Los Alamos project to the revoking of his security clearance.

    Excellent dramatization of the development of the atomic bomb and Oppenheimer's role in it, as well has his losing his security clearance. Features David Suchet as Edward Teller. DVD quality is excellent for its time.

    Great buy of a great product!

    This finally, is the release of a terrific 10 part mini-series from the BBC in the 1980's about one of the most interesting figures in the group which built the bomb. Terrific peerformance by a young Sam Waterston. This was unavailable for years first on DVD by the BBC and then in the proper format for the US. I had to order this from Britain and then buy a DVD player that I coudl hack to play it in the US format. No longer. If this subject is of interest to you, buy this immediately!

    It's the bomb !!

    Great historical show on the events that changed the world, forever. I saw this on television, years ago. Now I can watch it again and again. Great character studies! The planets best theoretical physicists.

    Atomic Intrigue

    I ordered this for a friend who worked in hush-hush caverns of the Army's intelligence community. He loves the DVD and thanked me profusely for it. Therefore, I conclude it must be good because he knows what he's talking about when it comes to this type documentary. Thanks!

    Waterston is great.

    I watched this series when it originally aired. The DVD is not as good as I recall, but it is still pretty good.
