The Irwin Record 4" Drill Press Vise is a heavy duty, well constructed piece of equipment. I was surprised by how heavy this vise is. I have seen feedback that the sliding jaw is loose and has too much play. The sliding jaw in the vise I have has a minimal amount of play. The screw also has a minimal amount of play. For what it's worth...
