Easy to install, quiet operation
Replaced the water pump in my 2003 Roadtrek with this Shurflou after calling the company to confirm the model number. Disconnected the red and black wires (after confirming that the house battery was off) and then the water inlet and outlets. Four screws hold the water pump in place. Reversed the process to install the new pump. Hardest part of the whole job was working within the very confined space next to the Roadtrek water heater--an issue that Shurflo has no control over. Turned on the house battery and tested the pump. Runs very quiet. If I get 15 years of service out of the new pump...Well, I won't worry about that. Nervous about the pressure at first
I replaced the Shurflo pump that was original with my camper in '93 due to not winterizing early enough last fall causing a leak at the bypass whenever the pump was running. Rebuild kits are available but for a 25 year old pump, I decided to splurge but was a little worried about the switch pressure. My original was only 45 PSI and with the age of the camper I don't want to stress the lines more than intended or have the pump short cycle for being too big. I have installed this and used it a few weekends and so far so good! Super quiet compared to the old one and the faucets don't feel any tougher to open or close. Great Replacement Pump
I replaced a 13 year old shurflo pump with this model. Its slightly larger and it pumps just a little more gpm. since I added a winterizing kit, I had to relocate the new pump. The discharge hose was too short. I added about 24" of hose to the discharge side and made a complete loop before I connected to the pump. My old pump was really loud, I could hear it over the generator running. Now I have to go in the room where the new pump is located to tell if it is running. I don't know if my old pump was just going bad or what. this new pump is so much quieter and more powerful. I love it and the price was very good compared to some of the local rv stores in my area. If you have enough space to put a slight larger pump, I recommend this pump. One note, it would not shut off at first, but I ... I replaced a 13 year old shurflo pump with this model. RV water pump
Nice pump for the $. Replaced a noisy one that would kick on every few minutes for couple seconds. I chose to just replace the entire pump instead of rebuilding the original one in 2015 30 ft Salem. Very quiet & easy change out. Highly recommended!

Nice to shower again!
It is great to have water again after my other water pump died two weeks ago. The pump was relatively easy for a mechanically challenged woman to install. As GEICO used to say: “So easy a caveman could do it.”
