Product Information

French filmmaking brothers Jules and Gedeon Naudet came to New York in the fall of 2001 to make a documentary about a rookie fireman from Manhattan's Engine 7, Ladder 1 company. On the morning of September 11, while the production was still in the early stages of filming, the project become something that no one could ever have expected: the Naudet brothers accompanying firefighters to the World Trade Center and capturing on film their valiant efforts to get survivors to safety. Originally broadcast on CBS television, 9/11 is a heartfelt, often shocking--but never exploitative--portrayal of the horrific events of that historic and tragic day. A portion of the proceeds from the video will benefit the Uniformed Firefighters' Association Scholarship Fund.

    The Day of 9-11 documented as it happened.

    So it happened there was a French Documentary Film Crew recording a day in the life of a NYFD Fire Station in Manhattan the day of 9-11-2001. As a New Yorker in the diaspora I was gut shot that day. I have never felt that I was in the wrong place more than that day and the weeks following. This is the best imaginable coverage and preservation of this tragedy for history.

    This is a ONE-OF-A-KIND 9/11 video!

    I watched this video and had tears in my eyes through the movie. YHIS is the one video that has the jet crashing into the tower. That is the reason I bought this video. This film is from 2 movie producers who were in the horrible place of the 9/11/2001 tragedy, at a bad time...with movie cameras. This is one of the most educational films on 9/11 of ANY 9/11 video! THANK YOU!!!

    Best Video on 9/11 WTC that there is. Period.

    This is the best video on what happened at WTC on 9/11/01. I am totally impressed. I watched 9/11 from across the Hudson river in Jersey City, but the WTC holds a special place in my heart as it was my life for 15 years having worked at 5WTC, and another 10 years one block away - before 9/11. Thank you for your bravery Naudet brothers for going there amid the chaos and bringing your cameras.
