Criterion Rules (all others are fools)
Criterion again does their usual amazing job of putting together both a superlative print and engaging supplemental features for the discerning film snob. Having loved this dark comedy since I first saw it, I was over the moon at the quality of the print they used as well as watching the Parkinson interview with Guinness himself. Thanks Criterion!

OOP Criterion edition of classic Alec Guinness film
KIND HEARTS AND CORONETS is justifiably famous as of of Sir Alec’s greatest films as well as one of Ealing Studios’ best. Although the humor is very dry to our “modern” American tastes, the film is quite remarkable for all of the characters (8, I believe) played by Sir Alec, sometimes with 2 on screen at once. Brilliant!

Don't bother if you already own the DVD
I was hoping the Bluray version of this classic looked better than the DVD, but it really doesn't. It's a poor, grainy transfer. The story is great and entertaining however, just hoping to be wowed by the picture quality, but let down in the end.

Great Film!
Love this film and seeing Alec Guinness play all 8 characters to be murdered. It’s a classic!
