    The receiver arrived on time as the seller was quick to ship. The receiver differed from the pictures because there was damage to the whole left front of the unit. Obviously it was handled wrong and dropped from a distance. The shipping carton was damaged on one corner also. I will contact USPS because obviously the damage occurred after shipment. Other than that, great job!

    Centennial is a good title for this movie.

    A true to life movie that inspired me, also interesting. I think there is some history in this movie. I like movies like these. Tells quite a lot about Colorado and the east.

    "Centennial" covers more than 100 years, and it's worth every one of them.

    I remember reading "Centennial" when it was published and being completely enthralled by the scope of this epic novel. I missed the TV series when it first was broadcast, partly because I didn't think it could possibly live up to its' antecedent. I was wrong. I've lived in Colorado since then, and the spectacular scenery makes me long to return. "Centennial" is much more than the story of a little town in Colorado; it's the story of our country. The casting was perfect, and the actors brought the story to life perfectly. I'm glad to be able to see the entire series, and it is well worth the time (nearly 24 hours). I plan to make watching it an annual event.

    An accurate historical account of the settling of the west, including the good, the bad and the ugly.

    I remember it from the 80's when I first saw it. It is great to see it again. I also have the James Michener book, "Centennial." It is a favorite of mine.

    This was "THE" television event of the late 70s

    Very good copy. An ambitious undertaking, this adaptation of the James Michener novel is somewhat undermined by the hack "televisionized" screenwriting. Loaded with "Hot" TV stars of the 70s-80s, some of whom made the best of the script. All that said, I'm still glad to have this authentic artifact of that period of our popular culture.

    Going nostalgic

    I enjoyed this series when first shown so opted to buy. Have not played as yet so cannot comment on image quality, but it should be fine. I realize there may be flaws in the historical accuracy but it is to me entertainment without all the four-letter words.
