For 2004, Acclaim's popular Legends of Wrestling franchise comes barreling toward the ring, offering more characters, new matches, new game modes, and new classic venues, in Legends of Wrestling: Showdown.<br><br>Featuring over 70 of the most popular professional wrestling characters in the sport's history, Legends of Wrestling: Showdown builds upon its predecessor with the additions of the Ultimate Warrior, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. With all of these classic characters come their signature entrances and taunts, all designed to contribute to the nostalgia and realism of the game. Shadowing the action in the ring with their witty, if not insulting, color commentary are Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Tony Schiavone.<br><br>Bone-shattering battles such as First Blood, Cage, Battle Royal, Six- and Eight-Man Elimination Bouts, and newly developed Classic Matches allow players to battle the greats, and revisit the timeless rivalries from yesteryear. Also new is the addition of a career mode, in which players can travel down the road pot-holed with pain, as an amateur looking to live out a dream -- one match at a time.

    Best Roster

    Huge Roster of true legends!! The gameplay is fair once you grow acustom to it the story is great. In tutorial mode Bret Hart actually tells you how to play the game, really cool. Great commentary, good theme songs close to original but not exact due to copywrite. All in all a very solid title If you are looking for a good wrestling game with characters you will actually still care about on ps2 this is the ticket ol boy!!
