Very Enjoyable
Give it a chance; you won't regret watching this film. The hauntingly lovely Oscar nominated song, "I Am Calling You," is featured throughout, which adds to the sweet moodiness of the film. I missed the film back in the '80s when it was released and am so glad to now have seen the film and own the DVD. Unforgettable...

The magic of movie making
This movie stands out because it is about the goodness in people's hearts and the acceptance of of differences. With no crime, violence, sex or politics it reminds the viewer that real people in difficult circumstances an still fall in love and overcome obstacles. Yes, it's a feel good movie, but add to that a breathtaking theme song and beautiful cinematography and you have an american classic.

Baghdad Cafe
This film and its haunting song is pure poetry. All these unique souls come together in a remote motel and a German woman brings all of them together with magic. How many of us have landed in places we never thought we would community. Making some prints screen printed of scenes that moved me the most. Lovely film in every way

Desert Delight
A tiny, run down gas station/motel/ diner in the middle of nowhere transforms into a truck-stop hot spot, thanks to the warm personality and unusual talent of a "little" old European lady traveler with pizzazz. At once, funny, depressing, and uplifting.

Great entertainment and historic reflection.

Turning into a cult classic.
Kind of an odd movie but turning into a cult classic. Find some fancy jammies for the little lady and some adult beverages and settle in for an entertaining evening.
