The Canon EF-S USM II F/3.5 lens is designed for EOS Digital Rebel and APS-C size format cameras. The focal length of this Canon lens can be automatically adjusted between 18 mm and 55 mm to shoot the magnified images of an object at a minimum focusing distance of 0.25 m. With an aperture range of f/3.5 - 38, this Canon EF-S USM II F/3.5 allows you to capture bright outdoor pictures. The 27 to 74-degree angle coverage of this 18 mm lens facilitates you to take standard format pictures. With a 0.34x magnification and a 1:2.9 magnification ratio, this Canon lens lets you look clearly and click life size picture of small objects. Image stabilization helps to capture sharp images in the 18 mm lens even when there are jerks. With a construction of 11 elements in 9 groups and 6 diaphragm blades, this Canon EF-S USM II F/3.5 controls the performance of the lens to provide superior quality images. Auto Focus not working on lens
I consider this a buyer beware. Buying lens on eBay is a risk. This works fine in mannual but is a total fail in AF mode. I checked it on three different cannon cameras with same result. 18-55 is canon lens
Ibought this lens for my back-up Canon camera. 20d. The original lens was not an IS lens and many times I would get blurry pictures. With this Image stabilizer lens, the pictures are in focus all most all of the time. If you are in the market for a new lens for your canon digital camera, make sure that you get an IS lens. Great lens to have, specially if you like to record videos with the family
A nice lens to have around. I dropped my bag and damaged my two lenses. Kit lens and 18-270mm tamron lens. I bought this kit lens because it allows me to take pics in family gatherings quickly and simple. Very responsive when taking videos coupled with magic lantern. A great zoom kit lens
