Better Party game than Super Mario Party or Mario Party Superstars
While the Mario Party series has been the gold standard of the genre, the last 2 have fallen kind of flat while Ubisoft stepped up big time and created what is ( as of August 2024 ) the best party game on the Switch. It's all themed around legends, myths, and fables. The minigames are varied and either intuitive or intentionally counter intuitive. ( And if pay attention to the story bits you should know which... so they snuck a little edutainment in there. ) The classic lit and reading comprehension is balanced by the rabbids lowbrow humor. It's a fun multiplayer board game setup with a storybook motif that moves along at a good pace. If you like party games, you'll like it. If you find them hit or miss, the fact that it sells on ebay for almost as low as trade in means this is one you can give a spin with little to no risk.
