Highly recommend
I love Stephen King books and have read a few of Peter Straub’s books. Together they write better than they do alone in my opinion. This doesn’t ramble a lot about nothing like a lot of Stephen King’s chapters do, but it has all the suspense and originality of a Stephen King novel. Peter Straub’s books always have a decent ending that wraps everything up, and this one does as well. Sometimes after reading a Stephen King novel I’m left thinking “what the heck just happened?” I highly recommend this book as well as the sequel “Black House”.
