    The seller promptly replied to an email with a question about the item's condition and quickly accepted my offer. Shipping was quick, and the item was packaged well. My wife is a reseller through eBay, and this seller packaged it the way she does. It was a similar shipping bag. The CD jewel case arrived with a crack at the upper right-hand corner, but I believe this happened during shipping and is easily replaceable. Shipping carriers in our area can be brutal. This transaction was positive.

    Drama and history at it's best w

    It's based on fact. It's based on real peoe that lived without cars or phones. Very touching. Family problems, sometimes abuse and alcohol problems. Delivery drama and problems. Interesting ways they dealt with issues for that time. Young nurses and their love lives as well as humanity. Have a Kleenex handy. Touching. Good drama. One of the nuns is so funny talking about weird things all the time. I think she gets alzheimers. Like real life as it's based on real life.

    Wonderful series

    Wonderful series with strong,intelligent ,caring female roles. Based on a real group of nuns and midwifes ,some of whom are still alive. Deals with the issues of the times in an interesting view of one of the nurses. Each season gets better.

    Call the Midwife... Season 1

    HIGHLY RECOMMEND the entire collection.... This is just as engaging as Downtown Abbey, Upstairs/Downstairs and the Gilmore Girls. The price for this type of entertainment can't be beat!

    Absolutely engaging!

    From the very first episode, I was hooked!! I wanted to know these character's and because its a true story, made it more intriguing. Sister Monica Joan is a favorite and Sister Julienne. Chummy also is quite funny. I just love them all. You won't be sorry purchasing these videos. Be sure to get them all 1-5. Hanging on to see series 6.
