Extra Gloss Protection is not a polish, so will not remove or improve the appearance of scratchs, swirls or dull paint. If your paint has these problems use Super Resin Polish first followed by Extra Gloss Protection to lock in the shine.

Very easy to use

Excellent Product
Product arrived quickly. It provides an excellent finish if used over Autoglym polish. Water beads off well and dirt is reduced. We'll need to see how long this lasts with regular Autoglym shampoos before it needs to be reapplied but at the moment it looks as good as the expensive, professionally applied finishes.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Best 3-6month protection unless you go ceramic
As the title suggests this product is great and has been tested many times in groups tests as a great post- wash protection. Lasts a good few months (assuming you use mild shampoo such as Autoglym’s conditioning shampoo). Also good for keeping brake dust from adhering to your alloys. If you want better you would need to shell out much more cash on a ceramic coating such as Gtechniq it this is much better value if you are willing to wash every few months (bottle lasts ages). Excellent!
AG Extra Gloss Protection is an amazing product, use it after AG Super Resin Polish to really lock in that shine (especially on darker colours). Generally find that after using this I can get away with just a weekly wash of the car as the product really helps to stop crud sticking to the paintwork. Also offers outstanding water beading qualities to protect against the elements. Very easy to use, apply, wait 30 mins and buff up-job done and a little goes a long way. High gloss
I use the sealant after polishing and I can even feel the difference on the paint. Great shine and lasts a long time. Easy to apply but like water so needs to go onto a cloth, dries to a hard white coat easy to rub off. Great product!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Auto Glym extra gloss protection
I gave it five stars because I actually noticed an added durability to the basic AutoGlym Super Resin Polished I am used too. I used it on my bike frame and the effect lasted all winter with just a light wash down now and then. I use this bike more than the car, and even on salty roads, lots of sand and dirt in held up resonably well and made a difference. I don't know that many brands well enough to make a comprehensive comparison, but it stands up favorably to other polishes I have used. I can recommend it for other stuff than the car; bikes, even shining up your vintage sewing machine to prevent further wear :- )Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Comes up like new.
I have used Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection for many years to 'top up' between applications of their resin polish. The resin polish is slightly abrasive, as are most similar produtcts, and over use can eventually result in thining of gloss coat or event the paint itself. A simple once over with the Gloss Protection restores the shine without any abrasives involved. It is best to apply thinly and to leave for at least an hour before polisihng off. Overnight in the garage works well. My Mini is now 29 years old with over 130,000 miles - never had a respray! Looks amazing at shows but is really will used including on the World Rally GB where I marshal and it gets well coverd in the proverbial (see picture) as it traverses several stages through the forests. A simple thorough hand wash followed by a coating of Gloss Protection brings it up like new. Only need to use the Resin Polish a couple of times a year.

Brilliant product
Easy to us and gives amazing results without paying a stupid amount of money like you can do with some products . Have used it for years on all my cars , recommended it to family and friends .
