Great Music and Great Bossa Nova Sound
The original "The Girl from Ipanema" with it's Jazzy Bossa Nova rhythms are wonderful to listen to over and over again. The beautiful voice of Astrud Gilberto make this a terrific CD for excellent listening pleasure. Mood Music at it's best.
I gave it an 'excellent' in spite of the lousey musicians, including the singer. What made this Bossa Nova period hit great was the incomparable Stan Getz.
