One of the Great Documentaries

Worth the time to watch.
Very good overview of an important period in American history. Without the main source of information from Shelby Foote combined with his insights and interviews, it would not have been much less of a production. Outside of that, there were subtle "left" leaning implications I found unnecessary, but that is more about Burns who otherwise does an outstanding job of conception and production.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Over priced
The content is excellent but getting it on Blu Ray is pointless. I'm thinking it may have been re edited and shorter than the original. It's definitely worth having but the original DVD is lots less money and just as good.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
