A thoughtful, adventurous saga
A thought destroyed painting of 'Custer's Last Stand' hidden in the closet of a dying vet gets stolen. Walt Longmire is called in to find it, to solve a murder case and to chase down thieves, murderers. Readers are treated to another historic account of Little Big Horn while the Wyoming sheriff Longmire, his undersheriff Victoria, his close friend Henry Standing Bear and "Dog" chase down leads and discover unexpected culprits. Longmire Books with excellent stories
