Works ok with a few flaws and feature drawbacks.
Most of the time, it works reasonably well. I have experienced a few times when the sound does not correspond with the video, and I don't mean by a couple of seconds, but 5 minutes or more. There are times when the audio is a commercial, and the video is the show. It does not happen often, less than 5% of the time, but it is frustrating when you are watching and after an hour, the sound/video are out of synch, I have not been able to find a way to re-synch the two, and I'm pretty sure it happens during the recording time, and not the playback, so I think there is no fix except wait until the next time the program airs. You are able to fast forward thru commercials, but at preset 20 or 30 sec intervals. It would be handy if you could slide the playback bar at the bottom of the screen and forward or rewind by that method. I am able to do that with you tube TV, much handier. It has also failed to record several shows, just indicates "Fail" on the playback screen, that may have been an intermittent reception issue, I have only had it a couple weeks and so I'm not sure the cause of the problem.

It's a good product to use when you want to record shows over the air.
It's working good overall. When I first hooked it up, I wasn't sure it the picture wasn't as good as it should have been. However, after two days the picture quality improved.

Somewhat disappointed
Works as advertised. Only negative is that it has to be connected to internet to record or play local, OTA channels! Why? I wanted to be able to use this when traveling to watch prerecorded broadcast materials, but if the destination does not have accessible internet available it apparently won't work. Oh, well.

Across the Board Better than Silicon dust ..
I have used a HDhomerun for years and grabbed the Tablo as an update as it has better recording and the streaming channels like ION etc The Tablo has much better reception then the HDhomerun Picture quality is slightly better than HDhomerun . The guide and DVR recording are much better on the tablo The only con is the Tablo does not have a windows app which is silly as they have MAC which is only 1/8 the users ( apple users just cant help themselves. Its even white ) There is no app for kodi which HDhomerun has a third party Across the board this is way better than the HDhomerun but would like to see kodi and windows app so I can view on laptop

it was well worth the money to shed cable
it was very easy to set up the way you use it is different on each device ,still learning how to use

Less than cable, Better than an antenna
Only have issues if it rains, cloudy, or windy. Other than that works good.

Good device
Software still needs some tweaking, but it's pretty good as is.
