Great multi tool.
I’ve had many different brands of multi tools, and this one is one of the best I’ve owned. I really like the tools, and the opening and closing is so smooth, like I’ve had it for years and has already been broken in. The built in pocket clip is just what these tools have always needed, and I love that little feature. Leatherman Free P4 rules!
I was very doubtful when I first heard about the Leatherman Free P4 I've been a user of a Leatherman Charge for many years (NEVER leave home without it), and I doubted it could be bettered. However being a bit of a 'knife nut' I eventually decided to buy one and I 'm now here to bite my words. The new P4 is a real beaut in my eyes. A bit less bulky than the Charge, and the access to all tools without unfolding I really appreciate. At first I thought I was going to miss the 'reversible' screw tip holder and the clip or screw tips in the separate plastic sleeve holder, but realistically, how often have I EVER used one of the 15 odd alternatives it offers? Lifkewise the very small 'glasses' screw driver. How often have I ever used it? Answer, I think maybe once some years ago. SO I don't miss the extra tools from my old faithful Charge, but I DO really like the compactness and performance of the FREE P4. One of the best pocket tools.
