best deal imaginable
Just got an LG 4K3D TV and an LG 4K3D player(both on E bay by the way) Got this movie for less than $8 shipped. Saw the film in the movies and I can tell you that on this TV the images were BETTER than in the theaters with no loss of color as theTV is 3-4 x the brilliance of a theater image. The depth and resolution were unbelievably. clear. NO eye fatigue either. I watched it with glasses from a movie theater too(nice way to save money in that area)as the passive 3d is exactly the same as in the movie theaters. Also you can watch it in 2D and its the same as a reg blue ray. Way to go!!!

I have mixed feelings about this movie. Alice is perfect and well cast. The queen with the big head and Johnny Depp's hatter don't work for me. The 1950s Alice perfectly rendered the characters, this doesn't. As for 3d effects they are par for the course. Some good moments, I prefer a few more gimmicky effects though.

Pretty Wonderful
Sometimes I am a Tim Burton fan and other times he is simply too much. I did NOT see this in theaters and I have waited for forever to buy a 3D version of this film. It turns out I am pleased with both the film itself and its many wonders and the 3D presentation. Now I want the second film.

Classic story rebooted
Johnny Depp has become my new favorite in the Alice in Wonderland series. He does a terrific job as the Mad Hatter. And in 3D to boot.

Alice & Depp look fab in 3-D!
Burton's fantasy was so well done that a sequel back to Wonderland was mad and it was even better! The 3-d effects were superb and it proves that 3-D Home Video is here to STAY! Get that Hollywood Studios? ~~Ed~~~ sho buz~~~

A Movie That Immerses the viewer into the story
Wonderful special effects, and Johnny Depp plays the Mad Hatter excellently. Being in 3D with my LG widescreen, the Blu Ray pops and immerses the viewer into the story.

Great
Was looking for this in 3D! The effects are stunning, the costumes great! It is a must watch prequel to Alice Thru the Looking Glass. The cast did an amazing job, glad I added it to my collection.

Great Entertainer movie especially if you have a 3D TV the characters really pop out . Great adaptation from the story book book
