An afforable mat cutting tool with great quality
This is a good tool if you only want to do a small number of mats at one time. Yet, you do need to practice with it and need to have some strength for your hand that hold doem the ruler or guide for this cutter. Even with this simple tool, you can get professional quality of picture mats. I use this tool to frame documents that are not in standard sizes and very happy with the results.

Love my Logan Mat Cutter
Instructions are easy to follow and can also watch video of how to use this product on YouTube. I need to practice more on using the product to achieve the desired result.

Good, solid tool, easy to use.
Easy to use, comes with easy to install/change blades. The only thing I don't understand is why it is called a "PUSH STYLE" as you clearly pull the unit toward you. Good solid tool, should last for years. This is the first time I have used a bevel cutter and it was easy-peasy !!

Glad we didn't donate it when we were moving
Ok, to be perfectly honest - we used the Logan Mat cutter for the 1st time several weeks ago and noticed that the straight cutter was NOT in the set as advertised. But, we've had that set for at least 15 years and never used it so there's a chance we took it out early on and lost it. The mat cutter did great and we purchased the straight cutter in case we ever needed it.

Logan 7 piece push style mat cutter, Model #2000
B1lades don't have sharpness to cut thru mat. Impossible to keep straight line when using left handed.

Good mat cutter
This mat cutter works well, makes neat, clean cuts. It also came with extra blades. Takes some practice though and being new at this, would have liked more detailed instructions. Google was a good source of help.
