Der Einband weist nur sehr geringfügige Beschädigungen auf, wie z.B. kleinere Schrammen, er hat aber weder Löcher, noch ist er eingerissen. After the war a young British engineer, Cameron Earl, was sent to occupied Germany by the British Intelligence Objectives Sub-Committee (B.I.O.S.) to investigate the development of Grand Prix racing cars in Germany before the war. First published in 1948 and for nearly fifty years available only in rare and highly-priced second-hand copies, the report has acquired a legendary status of its own, as has its author, whose death at the age of 29, following a motor racing accident robbed the world of a great talent., This report, first published in 1948, covers the German pre-war activities in racing car design and production. It describes the Third Reich's involvement and attempts at the land-speed record with a Porsche/Mercedes Benz supercar.
