The "little engine" that could.
Like the title I've given this - this device is extremely capable if you have a reliable internet. Everything from the setup to getting a phone number and a suitable contract is very well explained on the web site. I live in an area where no cell phone provider's service is good. I had another companies VoIP and they were charging as much as a standard land-line. This is a great price and so far I am very pleased. Again, the key is if you have a reliable internet service. I converted my entire home telephone wiring to use VoIP and we love it. The clarity is so much better than my cell phone. Do the math - cell phone $65 to $100 each a month? MagicJack - a few dollars or less a month.

So far, great!
We live in an area with bad cell reception but we had good wifi! Have used it for two days and it has been a huge improvement!

Easy to set up & use
Was really easy to set up and had been useable. The only thing I noticed is the lag time to connect. there seems to have a 2 - 3 second stall on connection. It maybe my systems problem. None the less, it works great! Is a big money saver. Thank you MagicJack

Yes, buy it, use it
I have been a customer for 7 years and now have 3 lines in full time use. Two home numbers and a fax line. You can't get a better service at this price point. If you have stable internet, then this is the only way to fly.

The worst experiance of anything I ever bought.
i had it for close to a month. I could not get it to work I could get a dial tone but no one could give me an account or a phone number I will try to re coup my loss at a yard sale, I did run accros an article by the developer who said it is a huge waste of time saying : it is SAD"

Good price.
Easy to install. I am on my 2nd magic jack plus unit. The old unit did start malfunctioning towards the end of 5yrs but the price and longevity was right.
