    Quirky but fun.

    This game is a lot of fun, it’s like some other fantasy RPG’s, but has its own flair. It is part dungeon crawling and part city building in a unique way. To rebuild the world you go into dungeons and collect parts or people then go out to the town to put things together in the way the people want it. The levels of the dungeon are randomized making it great to replay.

    Dated but gold!

    Not as polished as the sequel Dark Cloud 2/Dark Chronicle, lacking voiced cut-scenes, etc. However the unique and more straight forward approach to gameplay systems in the original game holds up well to this day, and is one of the best action-rpgs the PlayStation 2 has to offer!

    Worth the price!

    I've bought this game so many times I've lost count! I'm 49, my 27 year old daughter, 22 year old son and my 20 year old daughter all love this game too, which is why I buy so many. If it's good enough to pass through the family that much, it's worth the price!

    Dark Cloud is a PS2 Classic

    While this is clearly a now aging title, Dark Cloud is a PS2 exclusive series that is considered to be a must have for anyone that finds themselves with a still working console. While the second game vastly out performs the first with a plot that isn't necessarily continuous from one game to the next, I'd recommend anyone new to the series starting here and getting the whole experience Dark Cloud has to offer.

    RPG, Dungeon Crawler and Simulation

    Amazing to play a RPG and build your own town on by free all the people/buildings/tree's and even stuff like pathway and fences. You can custom your town as you wish. The Dungeon(s) are randomly generated, so it's basically your typical Dungeon crawler game.
