Nostalgia trip
The book contains all the classic thomas stories as penned by Rev. Wilbert Awdry himself. Taking place on the fictional Island of Sodor, the stories chronicle the stories of the locomotives on the North Western Railway, learning the values of kindness and friendship as well as hard work and good character. While containing some of the flaws of literature of its time (1945-) the stories are sweet and charming, the characters fun and memorable, and tone is calming and kind. Having cherished these stories since was very young, I wholeheartedly recommend this book for your young boy or girl, or even any young at heart railway fan you may know.

This book is great for all ages!
