Good value for the price.
I purchased one and liked it so much I bought a second one. When the second one arrived it had a broken front panel, the seller offered return shipping to the factory and a replacement. Looks good enough and does the job, but doesn't age well.
When it arrived, it look very good for its price, but it is definitely NOT a 50-year old oak Gerstner. I use it, and I have had this for a few years: it doesn't age well, but it does the job and still looks OK. The wood was not dried properly, and swells in some places, shrinks in others, gaps open up. It is functional, and the flaws are not apparent until you open the box. I had to add a chain to stop the top lid from flipping backwards: the hinges are not very good quality either. Overall, it is worth its price. Love this!
I bought this to hold a lot of mostly silver and turquoise jewelry. I couldn't find anything that fit what I needed, which was a lot of space, felted drawers, and no dividers. I know this is not a jewelry box, but it works great. It holds all my large and small jewelry, it's easy to access, and can be locked. It looks just like the picture, feels quite sturdy, and has a good handle on the top. You get what you pay for...inexpensive for a reason
I would not give this as a gift...my daughter wanted a jewelry box, made from a Old fashion tool box...Yes, the price is decent, but I had to have this item sent to me twice and both times, something was not right...its ok if your going to trash it with your crafts...but it may not hold up for a long time...good for temporary use.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

excellent worksmanship

Nice enough to order a second one (even though).
Very good quality woodwork nice looking, however two things. First, you must remove each screw and add a drop of wood glue. They oversized the predrill. Cheaply made and cheaply assembled
You get what you pay for - certainly that is true with respect to this case. The lock were both damaged and or not working properly. Some parts of the wood is so thin it may as well be cardboard. This chest would not stand up to any real use. Ok (I guess) for jewelry. Toolbox is exactly as advertised
I am a silversmith with hundreds of small tools and chisels. So, this toolbox is excellent for having an organized drawer for each category of hand tools. I had been searching for a used machinist toolbox and was looking at a price of approximately $160.00. I made an appointment to see what was described as "hardly used". The felt was ripped, the key was missing, and it had a lot of dents and dings. Even so, it was better than the other three I had seen. I almost put money down on it, but said I'd have to think about it. Then I searched ebay, saw this toolbox, and made the purchase. I'm so glad I chose this toolbox. It is well made. Very Poor Quality
I ordered this chest with high expectations. Reviews said it made a nice jewelry chest. Well, to start with, it fell apart while I was taking it out of the box--and I was being gentle! Parts were not screwed in correctly or not at all. Hinges were off and screws had popped out of the holes. When I tried to put it back together, the screws wouldn't tighten because the holes in chest where they go are now too big. Felt was installed very poorly, with wrinkles and bubbles and it's coming away from the wood in places. Overall, this is NOT a well made item and is NOT worth the money I paid for it. The only thing I like is the color of the wood on the outside of the chest.

Does the job
