The better one
This original version is the one i like. The new remastered remixed release is not the same night of shows and the new mix sounds way different. It took the led zeppelin out of the recording. This one the original has the best versions of the songs. The sound is led zeppelin. It could use a little help on the sound but not a complete change into a different recording. I find that if you turn the volume to 50-80% range this recording comes alive. And it totally rocks.

You listen to best of creativity, from some of the best musicians from that time and what do you get, the best. period, and what do you expect
The sound was very clear and rich and varied, I heard instruments playing their cords their designed scales, and the driving beat. The CD was so very creative and old and new concepts of music for that time period and the current time frame. This CD is simply just good music from excellent musicians.

This is the one you want, not the remaster
This original version is unfortunately the way to go with this album as the 2007 remastered version cuts out and rearranges some of the tracks. This has the best versions of "No Quarter", "Celebration Day", and " Whole Lotta Love". The remaster obviously has better sound, but you're really missing out with the songs.

The Song does Remain The Same
After purchasing the newly remastered soundtrack I was somewhat disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it is a fine live album. But it is not the soundtrack I remember blasting from the speakers while cruising. This is the proper soundtrack.

Iconic!!
This is an iconic album! Although the soundtrack for the movie The Song Remains the Same, it is completely stand alone. Whether you have seen the movie or not, you owe it to yourself to purchase this album if you love Led Zeppelin!

Live Zeppelin
This is the first version. This has a better edit of No Quarter and Dazed. I like the latest version and highly recommend it but, I grew up on this one and I can hear the changes. One of my favorite records of all time. Truly a great record.
