A real-time strategy game with a humorous tone, Robocalypse puts players in the middle of a war between two groups of feisty robots. It seems military routines were accidentally installed in prototype robots, and then ensuing rampage forced scientists to form an army of resistance robots by implanting the brain scans of retired WWII veterans. As in most RTS games, players win Robocalypse by strategically placing buildings and producing different units in the most efficient ways. <br><br>Gamers can give orders to soldiers, medics, builders, and heavy soldiers, and take direct control over a handful of different heroes who organize the battlefield and possess a variety of special abilities. Players can make use of more than 20 different weapons, and there are eight building types designed to produce robots, collect scrap metal, and provide defense. The single-player campaign consists of 17 unique missions, while the multiplayer modes let up to four gamers participate in co-op or head-to-head action.Product Identifiers
